 A few of the videos I found interesting in the welcome bulletin:

 

Khan Academy – Last year a fifth grade teacher at my school started using Khan Academy to supplement math. Students would share with me what they were doing and I through it was great.  This year there is support for it from the district.  I liked hearing about the background and seeing the founder.

 

The Hole in the Wall Experiment – I remember seeing information about this on a nighttime news show years again.  I was fascinated with it then and enjoyed hearing more about it.

 

Social Media Revolution – The format of the video is one of the things I have noticed happening with other videos I have seen latterly - the quick bits of information, music, color, etc.  It’s eye catching and I’m am thinking holds the attention of younger viewers.  After watching it I realized that I missed some of the social media I use or at least have created accounts with.
