Zach,  well done.  clear and to the point.  I was not familiar with Google Docs and I like the idea of having a "network folders" for my students on the internet and not just at school since we all know  how much of our work we take home.  I am guessing this is just for digital assignments?  Do you have all your assignments/papers completed digitally or do you have a very quick scanner that you use?

Thanks for sharing google reader.  I had seen it on the drop down bar, but was not aware of what it could do.  Not too sure about the "diet" part of this lesson.  I always thought diet meant to cut down, but I find myself adding more and more with every person's lesson that I check out.  Oh my!

My information diet input management stratgies are elementary but work for me at this point.  It is the quality output that I need to improve on!  It is easy to get caught up in the input.

Hello Beau,

I enjoyed your jing video regarding Google Reader.  I just started a google reader account and it seems like I now spend more time than I did before because now all my blogs are in one handy spot!  So much for info diet!

Thank you for a useful jing.  I am just getting started in trying to organize the info I get and seek out.

Here is the link to my Jing.  The info-diet outputs I discuss are all for my school library:  a web page, blog, and organizational Facebook page.  The info-diet input I discuss is Google.

Hello,

Here is my very elementary Jing regarding my social media input and output.

A little over 3 minutes (sorry!) but I discuss facebook, a couple of news sites, goodreads.com, and turnitin.com.  Lesson 6 Info Diet - Lea Bouton

Here is my Jing video about using Google Bookmarks as a tool to organize information. I use Google Reader and Facebook quite a bit as well, but thought this would be a different tool to explore.
